Noticed a weird sweet smell coming from the front of my Wrangler after parking it in the garage last night, and when I popped the hood there was a tiny bit of green crust around the radiator cap area. Temp gauge hasn't moved past normal yet so I'm hoping I caught it early, but I've been burned before by a shop that replaced a hose and charged me for a full radiator job. This time I want to be smarter about it, so I've been looking into a trusted Jeep radiator repair in Musaffah since that seems to be where the actual Jeep specialists hang out. What's bugging me is whether a pressure test is standard practice or if I have to specifically ask for it, because the last guy just eyeballed it and topped up the coolant which obviously didn't fix anything. Has anyone dealt with a slow leak like this and how did it turn out? Also, is it worth just swapping the radiator outright on a 2016 model with around 130k on it, or am I overthinking and it's just the cap?
