So my Malibu decided to give up on me this morning right as I was heading out from the office in Al Sajaa. The dreaded click-click-click and then nothing, absolutely dead. I managed to get a jump from a colleague but I know this battery is on its last legs, it's been acting up for a couple of weeks with the slow cranks. I drive quite a bit for work between Sharjah and Dubai so I really can't afford to get stranded on the highway. I'm looking for a place in or around Industrial Area 12 that can sort me out without me having to wait hours or take a day off work. I know there are a ton of garages around there but I've had mixed experiences with battery replacements before where they either gave me a used battery or it died again within a few months. I just need a reliable spot that has stock for a Chevrolet and can do the swap quickly and properly, maybe even come to me if possible since I'm stuck at the office for the rest of the day. I saw a few mobile services online that claim they can reach you in 20 minutes but I'm always a bit skeptical about the quality of the batteries they carry. Has anyone actually used one of these mobile guys in this specific area? I'm looking for something like a fast Chevrolet battery replacement in Industrial Area 12 because I just don't have the time to drive around to different shops hoping they have the right one in stock. It's a 2019 model so I need something that fits properly and can handle the heat without dying in a year. I'd appreciate any recommendations for a place you've personally had a good experience with, preferably one that won't overcharge just because it's an American car.
