Anyone here tried making the red dot sight functional?

The kit version is solid resin, so it would be challenging to drill through.

I could cast a hollow version, however, which would be easier to drill through. You could cut down some clear lexan or acrylic plastic to cover the hole at each end.

Still time to do that with my kit? otherwise I'll just drill the solid block
