Creation Entertainment has been scaling back their Stargate events for awhile, and now they are preparing to run their FINAL Stargate con. The event will be August 15-17, 2014 in Chicago.

Creation is promising to make the final Stargate con a memorable event; however this remains a sad milestone for the Stargate fandom.

There might be good news on the convention front. With the Stargate movies being announced it seems that Creation Entertainment has decided to reconsider ending their annual Stargate conventions.

In a poll from their website where they asked if fans want more conventions they currently have about 87% of fans saying yes.

So this might not be the last Stargate Creation event after all.
